Anyway, I am nowhere near finishing my Biore sunscreen (not the yellow bottle one, it sucks) but I was so desperate to try a new sunscreen that has no alcohol in it because apparently, my skin hates alcohol. Then, I went out to the nearest Watsons and wandered through aisle by aisle, reading ingredients of lots of sunscreens and almost throwing up, I found out that Wardah has a sunscreen with no alcohol content (and cheap too!) I was sold!

Packaging-wise, I love it! It's a really simple squeezable tube. It's travel-friendly packaging in my opinion - not heavy, simple and just nice kinda packaging. I am not getting any trouble with this packaging. No product leaking whatsoever. I am just living for it. I wish all sunscreens in the world are made like this. It dispenses product so easily! No-fuss, no muss.
As far as the product itself goes, I am digging it. It comes out white, just like every other sunscreen in the market but the texture and consistency are something else. It has a gel-like consistency and is very lightweight. It's not too thick but not runny either. Just nice for my liking. It leaves a slight white cast upon applying it to the face but it disappears in no time! So this sunscreen didn't do any of the tone-up effects on me which I am hugely, hugely thankful for. I also can see it's a little bit greasy-looking after application but it doesn't bother me that much. I look super glowing and I love it! Oh and, it didn't break me out (looking at you, Biore yellow bottle sunscreen.)

Have you heard of Wardah before? Have you tried anything from the brand? What's your favourite sunscreen?
nIce tekstur dia. Macam biore yang kuning. Kena cuba ni sejak botol kuning tu make my skin breakout. T^T
ReplyDeleteKan! Nice je ni tak terlalu thick or cair sangat. Major love lah! Biore botol kuning tu buat breakout kan? Geram je.
DeleteThat Biore yellow bottle didn't suit my skin too. I got tiny bumps each time I am using it. Currently trying Sunplay UV Moisture Milk, so far my skin kinda like it.
ReplyDeleteThe price for this sunscreen is quite affordable. I might buy one once I finished my Sunplay one 😊
It's quite a challenge sebenarnya nak cari sunscreen yg sesuai dgn kulit kita. Try and error jela hehe. I suka sangat sunscreen ni! Dah la murah, tak buat perangai kat kulit. Aaah love, love love! You kena try, Syaza xx
DeleteYeay I'm using this sunscreen too!
ReplyDeleteYay! Worth it, right!? Cheap and it works xx
DeleteYour photos are always so pretty, I love how you style them! I really loved your review, I have never heard of this before but it sounds so good :D ahhh I only wish it was sunnier here to warrant wearing sunscreen! Even though I know I should wear it on cloudy days too! xx

You're such a sweetheart, babe! Thank you for your kind words :D It's an Indonesia-based brand and I discovered this brand last year. Yeah it's pretty much boiling here in Malaysia so sunscreen is a necessity :D
DeleteBelum pernah cuba produk Wardah lagi ada office dah cuba dia kata okay.
ReplyDeleteLaku keras produk ni
Kena try Mrs.A! Serious tak rugi try :D
DeleteHey lenne. Nk tnya lah. I selalu confuse kalau pakai serum ni after what...like we use it after toner ke? Before toner ke? After moisturizer ke? Haha thx for answering!
ReplyDeleteHi! Kalau nak cakap pasal serum, the best application is after toner and before moisturizer. Lenne punya routine usually looks like this:
DeleteToner > serum > moisturizer > sunscreen
