Beauty Products I Hate

I don't usually like to use the word "hate," but it's part of the idea here, and I've seen other bloggers do posts like this. Since I'm obsessed with beauty products and love trying them out, I come across some that I absolutely love and some that are total no-gos. Today, I want to share a few drugstore products that I really regret buying.

Just a heads up: these are totally my honest opinions, so please don't get offended if you love these products. I'm still new to this kind of post. We all have different tastes, right? And fair warning, there will be a lot of ranting, so bear with me!

Catrice Waterproof Eyeliner Pen

OMG, I really wanted this eyeliner to work, but nope. First off, it's hard to apply. I struggled to get my winged liner right with this thing. The tip is weird, and it just didn't work for me. Plus, it feels like there's no product in the tube even though I just bought it. Maybe I got a bad one or an expired one? I don't know. You have to press really hard to get anything out, which just messes up your look.

The staying power is also weak. I have long days at school, so I need my liner to last, but this one vanishes. Maybe it's because I have oily eyelids, but other waterproof liners I've tried don't do this. By the time I get home and check my face, the liner is gone, and that's just not cute.

I don't have anything good to say about this eyeliner. It's a crappy product that dries out too fast and doesn't work. I wouldn't recommend it. Save your money, even though it's not pricey. It's better to splurge on something that actually works. IN2IT and Maybelline have some great eyeliners. Check them out instead and skip this one.

Revlon Colorstay Shadowlinks

I bought these about a year ago, I think. They were on sale, so there were lots of good deals back then, but these are the worst. It's not just that I'm not getting any pigment; they're super chalky, sheer, and tough to blend. The texture is really rough, it's weird. Once you get the product on your eyes, every color looks the same.

They also have very low staying power. They last on me for like a couple of hours and then start to fade. I wouldn't recommend any of these because they're just not great quality. I really wish they had a creamy texture that melts into your skin, that would’ve been perfect for me. Honestly, I still haven't found a good drugstore eyeshadow. They're all pretty meh to me, but I'll keep looking!

IN2IT BB Makeup Cream 5 in 1

Don't get me wrong, I love this brand and I'm really into their eyeliners, blushers, and lip products. They're amazing. But this BB cream? It's a total no-go for me. I expected it to be comfy, lightweight, and easy to blend, but it's the opposite. It's super thick like a foundation and doesn’t blend well at all. It leaves my skin looking patchy and cakey, especially in some areas, and it even makes my fine lines and smile lines stand out after just a few minutes. Not cute at all.

Plus, they only have like 2 or 3 shades, which is a really crappy shade range. Overall, this BB cream is just not good. I wouldn't recommend it to you guys. Go for Maybelline or Catrice instead for base products. You can't go wrong with these two brands.
