Battle of The Drugstore Mascaras

Hello, gorgeousness! Today I want to talk about drugstore mascaras that I own and my verdict on each one of them. I feel like even if you're not into makeup so much, you will have at least a mascara that you love dearly and you use it every day if not, once a month.

I have tried many more drugstore mascaras than this but I obviously don't have them with me anymore. So I am just going to talk about those that I currently own.

I currently have four mascaras in hand that I use for different purposes and occasions. 3 out of 4 mascaras that I will be mentioning are waterproof. I am very fond of waterproof mascaras as they are able to hold up curls amazingly.

Here's the battle of the drugstore mascaras:

#1 Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara

This mascara is love. Almost all of the beauty Youtubers that I watch used this mascara and they loved it! I absolutely get the hype behind this mascara. It gives amazing length and volume to my sad and short lashes. It doesn't flake or smudge. Totally won't give you panda eyes. One more thing is that this mascara is clump-free. No matter how many coats you use, it won't give you that unattractive spidery-looking lashes. Highly recommend!

#2 Revlon Dramatic Definition Mascara

I hate and love this mascara at the same time. It's a great defining and lengthening mascara. And for those who love layering mascaras, you will have no issue layering this mascara along with other mascara. The bristles are marketed as a "lash separator brush" and I absolutely agree with that.

HOWEVER, it weighs my lashes down. I definitely hate when mascara formulations are too heavy for my lashes and don't hold up curls the way I want. I think this has to do with the non-waterproof formulation. It's giving me no volume at all, just straight-up lengthening. Also, a great mascara that will give you panda eyes.

#3 Maybelline Hypercurl Volum' Express Mascara

I have made up my mind. I actually like this mascara. I have mentioned this mascara before on the blog and I said I hate it or something like that. But as time goes, I kinda like it for the intense volume that it gives me. It feels like I have thick lashes and locks up curls all day long! I also like it because it doesn't give me panda eyes.

A little heads up, 2 coats of this mascara particularly is enough because more coats than that will give you clumpy and crumbly lashes. And it also flakes a little. By the end of the day, you will see little bits and flakes of mascara on your face. If you're not about it, stay away from this mascara.

#4 IN2IT Lash Define With Fibre Mascara

Love, love, love! I recently bought this mascara and I swear to god this is the only mascara I am reaching for as of now. I gravitate towards this newly found gem. It's absurdly volumizing and lengthening. It also locks up curls all day long! It stays put. It doesn't flake or smudge or give me panda eyes. None of that. Ahh, I cannot emphasize enough!

The actual product is a bit watery and the applicator picks up so much product every time, so be careful. Other than those, I am pretty happy about this mascara. I feel like trying more mascaras from the brand as this is my first time trying IN2IT mascara. Recommend!
