Beauty Unveiled: Getting to Know Kayman CoalBerry Cleanser

Kayman Beauty CoalBerry Cleanser

Hello, gorgeousness! Today, I want to chat about my recent find from Kayman Beauty – the CoalBerry Cleanser. I snagged it a few weeks back, and let me tell you, I'm totally hooked!

You probably remember how I used to rave about the CoalFace Soap, right? I mean, it's had a solid spot in my most repurchased products. But guess what? I've found a new love in the CoalBerry Cleanser, and I'm low-key saying goodbye to my old soap fave. Can you believe it? I know, right?!

Before we start, just wanted to kick things off with a quick heads-up—I'm not getting any cash for sharing my thoughts in this blog post. It's all about my genuine experience and a straight-up honest review. I'm just coming from a good place, you know?

Now, if this cleanser or any other stuff from this brand didn't vibe with your skin, remember, everyone's skin is unique, and lifestyle factors into skincare too. Personally, I've never had issues with Kayman Beauty's products. I'm trying to be as fair as possible, but hey, if they're putting out awesome stuff, can you blame me for being a fan?

Okay, now I can continue my skincare talk. First things first,

“Your cleanser can make or break your skincare routine”

Just wanted to share something important with you. It's crucial to start off on the right foot, you know? Using a low pH cleanser is key, and that's a must for me. Kayman Beauty totally nailed it with their CoalFace Soap (my absolute favorite), CoalFace Cleanser, and CoalBerry Cleanser. Seriously, they've set a new standard for local beauty in my book.

When you're picking a cleanser, go for one that's gentle, hydrating, and won't strip your skin. And let me tell you, the CoalBerry Cleanser ticks all those boxes. It's packed with 10 different berry extracts that bring serious antioxidants to the table—perfect for protecting your skin from sun damage and keeping it youthful!

Now, let's talk ingredients. The first 6 in this cleanser are gentle on your skin and won't cause any fuss. Plus, there are emollients that soothe your skin and create a protective layer to lock in that much-needed moisture.

Here I give you the full ingredients list, just because.

Aqua, Ammonium Laureth Sulphate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Coco-Glucoside, Glyceryl Oleate, Fragaria Vesca L. (Strawberry) Extract, Euterpe Oleracea (Acai Berry) Extract, Vaccinium Cyanacoccus Rydb. (Blueberry) Extract, Rubus Idaeus Linn. (Raspberry) Extract, Lycium Barbarum L. (Gojiberry) Extract, Rubus Fruticosus L. (Blackberry) Extract, Vaccinium Macrocarpon (Cranberry) Extract, Vaccinium Myrtillus (Bilberry) Extract, Morus Nigra L. When it comes to how it feels, the CoalBerry Cleanser is like a breath of fresh air. It's got this cool, gel-like texture that my skin absolutely adores. You know, that mild, lightweight consistency that's just perfect for my oily skin. I'm telling you, gel-textured products are my go-to!

And it's not just me – gel cleansers are like superheroes for people with oily and acne-prone skin. They work their magic by giving your skin a deep clean without taking away all the good stuff. So, it's like a win-win situation for your face – super refreshing and no natural oils stripped away!

When it comes to the way my cleanser smells, I really like it to have a nice, subtle scent. It just makes the whole face-cleansing ritual more enjoyable. But let me tell you, I learned the hard way that my skin isn't a fan of fragrances (and alcohol too!) in skincare. Lucky for me, the CoalBerry Cleanser is a game-changer because it's completely fragrance-free!

You know, fragrances are often troublemakers for the skin. There are a few scents like citrus and tangerine that I can handle, but most others just don't agree with my skin. Considering this cleanser has a bunch of berry extracts, I half-expected it to smell like a berry salad!

I've been using the CoalBerry Cleanser every morning and night since I got my hands on it. Honestly, my skin has gotten so much better – it looks brighter, and my skin doesn't feel dehydrated anymore. It just feels really good after I wash my face, no tightness at all. Since it's a low pH cleanser, it kind of sets the stage for all the other stuff I put on my face to do their thing. Here's how I use the CoalBerry Cleanser in my routine:

  • AM skincare routine: Micellar water > CoalBerry Cleanser > Essence > Serum > Moisturizer > Sunscreen
  • PM skincare routine: Cleansing oil > CoalBerry Cleanser > Essence > Serum > Sheet mask > Moisturizer
You might not be familiar with this brand, but I want to share some key points in today's post that can help you choose the perfect cleanser. Remember, "Get it right from the start." I always tell my friends this because, believe it or not, your cleanser can either make or break your skincare routine.

    1. It doesn't have any smell. It's fragrance-free! I wish it would smell a little bit berry-like but that would increase the sensitizing factor in skincare, though. Kayman made a good move to release this free from any fragrance :)

  5. I tried it for a month already, and I really like it

The downside for me probably would be the bottle's functionality, as I find it hard to keep pumping to the desired amount that I need.

Overall, it's a very good cleanser.
