Beauty Product Empties #8

Beauty Product Empties #8

Hello, gorgeousness! Welcome to my beauty product empties post. I have a bunch of empties for today. I think this is a long overdue empties because I have been saving these empty bottles for over a month. We have a variety for today just because I don't plow through makeup that much. I always repurchase the same thing over and over again. Without rambling on too much, let's see what I have been emptying this time.

L'oreal 3-in-1 Refreshing Micellar Water - Major love!

Such wonderful micellar water. I don't think I can go back to using the Garnier blue cap one because this is so much better than that. And I honestly felt no different from the much more expensive micellar water from Bioderma. I love it because it's alcohol-free, doesn't leave any weird film after cleansing, doesn't sting my eye, and doesn't break me out.

Would I repurchase this? - 100% yes.

Simple Hydrating Cleansing Oil - Holy grail

What's not to love about this cleansing oil? It's fragrance-free, alcohol-free, with minimal ingredients used, it gets the job done, and it's cheap. It removes my makeup pretty well and rinses off cleanly as well. My skin felt super smooth and nourished afterwards.

Would I repurchase this? - Definitely!

The Body Shop Vanilla Eau De Toilette - Long time fav

One of my signature everyday scents. This is definitely an OG. It has a sweet and sultry scent. It's not heavy or strong at all. It's great for everyday wear and it's pretty affordable too.

Would I repurchase this? - Yes but maybe not now.

IN2IT Blur & Matte Pressed Powder - An okay product

It was an okay powder. It did add a little hint of colour to my skin, it made my skin appear smoother, and it gave my skin that just-nice-matte-finish. It can be light or heavy on the skin. Depends on how you apply it.

Would I repurchase this? - Nope.

IN2IT Blur & Matte Loose Powder - Not my fav

I have tried so many drugstore loose powders but I would say this one is my least favourite. I tried baking with this powder and it kinda bunched up in a weird way and my undereye wasn't evenly covered at all. However, I think it's an okay product to lightly dust on the skin. And that's it.

Would I repurchase this? - No.

Beauty Product Empties #8

Herbal Essences Bio:Renew Rejuvenate Bourbon & Manuka Honey Shampoo and Conditioner - FAV!

A category that rarely gets featured in my empties: hair products. But hey, we have one now! So I have finished the Herbal Essences Bourbon & Manuka Honey shampoo and conditioner. I did enjoy the way my hair felt after using the shampoo and conditioner. It left my hair easy to brush through and I didn't get any dandruff from using these two. Thank god! And it smells heavenly! One of the best hair products at the drugstore.

Would I repurchase these? - Maybe, I would like to try a few different functions from the Bio:Renew line first and see how they compare.

Fresh Rose Deep Hydration Facial Toner - So-so

The idea of real rose petals in your toner is all fun and fascinating until it didn't do anything at all to your skin anymore. I think I was quite lucky with this product because it didn't irritate my skin with the luxe-rose scent. I've gotta give credit though because it's really hydrating and skin-soothing if you will. However, I almost didn't see any changes when I was on my second bottle. I don't know how that happened. My skin was immune to it? So there's no way I am going to continue using it. It was not cheap at all, even for the travel size.

Would I repurchase this? - I loved the experience at first but sadly not going to repurchase.

Kayman Beauty Skintella Repairing Serum - HOLY GRAIL!

My most repurchased skincare items! I have repurchased this a million times, but I kept forgetting, and I threw it away before it has the chance to be featured in my empties post. But not today folks! It's here now. I mentioned Skintella pretty often on my blog. It is something that I can't go a day without. It soothes and hydrates my skin, repairs the skin barrier, and reduces redness on my skin.

Would I repurchase this? - I already did!

Vaseline Dry Serum Deodorant White & Smooth - Me likey!

I ran out of my standard deodorant which is the Enchanteur Whitening Roll-On Deodorant so I went ahead and bought the Vaseline Dry Serum Deodorant to try it for myself. And I am loving it! I would say I hate the delivery system but I can look past that because it did work. My underarm never looked this fair LOL. If only I can show you but that would be inappropriate.

Would I repurchase this? - Repurchased :)

  1. I know I say this each time I read your posts but even an article about product empties are so aesthetic here. hahaha Would love to hear more of your thoughts about the Herbal Essences Bio shampoo and conditioner though, I've been struggling to find THE products for haircare that don't dry out my hair or cause dandruff. Currently using Dove and it seems fine. But I'm keeping my eyes open for options too.

    1. I personally want to keep it that way if possible hehe. I think herbal essences hair products are one of the great options to try out. Ever since I've tried them, my hair seems to be easy to handle, no frizz at all, don't cause dandruff. Ugh I can go on all day lol. But definitely check herbal essences out. They're pretty affordable and if you're lucky to snatch the sale price, they'll be even more affordable xx

  2. What a great roundup! I love the body shop and I love vanilla so I definitely need to check that perfume out, it sounds lovely. The L'Oreal water sounds lovely too, I must admit that I don't stray away from the garnier one xx
