Why This Moisturizer Became My Daily Go-To

Hello, gorgeousness! Let's talk about another moisturizer that I have been using for as long as I can remember. As you know, I am always on the hunt for the best skincare for my oily skin. Keeping your skin moisturized and hydrated is the key to healthy and radiant skin, regardless of your skin type.

So, I've got oily skin and honestly, I think it's one of my best features because it keeps my skin looking younger and ages more slowly! But, you still need to take care of it.

One big thing I learned with my oily skin is that moisturizing is a must, no matter your skin type. You can't skip it. If you hate moisturizers, you probably just haven't found the right one yet.

I was super excited to work with Hansaegee Nature. Their products are a staple in my routine now. This time, I'm using the Aqua Whitening Cream. It comes in a 50ml jar, which is perfect because I can use every bit without wasting any. Plus, it's made in Korea, and they really know their stuff when it comes to skincare.

Texture, finish, formulation — all that good stuff

Hansaegee Nature's Aqua Whitening Cream is such an interesting product. It looks like a thick moisturizer but somehow feels super lightweight on the skin. I like to call it a watery-gel cream. Since it's water-based, it really melts into the skin like water. If you love water-based gel creams like I do, you'll probably like this one too.

As you rub it in, you'll notice these tiny water droplets forming, which I really enjoy. It sinks in almost immediately, leaving a demi-matte finish with no greasy feeling. It's so comfy and doesn't make my skin feel suffocated at all.

This moisturizer also has a cooling effect, which is amazing for hot and humid weather like in Malaysia. I don't even need to put it in the fridge; it's just part of the formula. It amazes me every time.

Key ingredients — what they do

Niacinamide — this amazing ingredient evens out my skin tone, boosts my skin's barrier and moisture, fights acne and blemishes, and brightens my skin while calming it down.

Camellia Japonica Seed Oil — perfect for fixing dry, dull, and sunburned skin, this oil is non-comedogenic, reduces inflammation, and makes my complexion glow.

Glycerin — a humectant and also super common and safe ingredient that helps my skin stay hydrated and soft.

This moisturizer is super nice through and through and has lots of great ingredients for all skin types. Whether you have oily, dry, sensitive, uneven, wrinkly, or combination skin, you'll love it.

Overall experience — what I like the most

I love that it has a citrusy scent that's not too strong, and luckily, it doesn't make me break out. I usually get little bumps with a slightly thicker moisturizers, but this one doesn't do that either. If you have oily skin, it's worth trying different lightweight moisturizers, and this one is a winner!

It keeps my skin moisturized and hydrated. I use it both morning and night, rotating with other moisturizers I have, but I keep reaching for this one the most. My skin isn't producing too much oil, so I know I'm moisturizing right. Since using this, I don't wake up feeling super oily anymore.

The fact that this moisturizer has 2 of my favorite ingredients, which are Niacinamide and Glycerin, I instantly love any products that contain them. And they are the top 5 ingredients in this moisturizer so I knew very well my skin will love it.

And can I just say, I appreciate every skincare company that formulates their skincare without alcohol? I am more than just interested in trying, my skin will LOVE it most of the time. Alcohol is one of the harsher ingredients for my skin so I tend to steer clear of it. I know for a fact this Aqua Whitening Cream is going nowhere, it's here to stick with me like glue. 

I love everything about the texture and consistency. It melts into the skin nicely, it melts with the heat of my finger and I can just very lightly rub it in and tap it gently into my skin. It allows you to be super gentle with your skin and that's just important when you are applying your products.

And of course, I can't get enough of the cooling sensation that it gives me. It's so refreshing! I love it when I use it in the AM and it instantly gives me this boost of freshness that wakes me up in a good way.
