When I say February just flew by, it absolutely flew by. I know we only got 28 days but last month was gone literally in the blink of an eye. Anyway, I hope you all had a lovely month despite the ongoing disruptions to life all around the globe. I can't even begin to talk about it because it's starting to take a toll on my mental health.
February has been quite a taxing month for me with lots of new projects and a few mishaps here and there which all took a lot out of me and my anxiety just skyrocketed leading to me not being very present here, unfortunately. However, I have high hopes for things to get better and a lot calmer in March. I am taking it one step at a time — if I can't then I will not force myself or rush through the task. It's exhausting to have it all figured out 24/7 :(
Regardless, quite a few good things happened last month that made me really happy and grateful. I am so excited to talk more about them in this post as well as in other blog posts soon!
Clay pins & clay rings
One of the biggest things that happened to me in the space of 28 days! Clay pins and clay rings have been launched! They were highly anticipated by lots of returning and new buyers. We straight up took longer than expected to release these because we don't want to put out half-baked collections. That's every small business's nightmare. But they're here now! I couldn't be more grateful <3
You can purchase them here!
K-beauty skincare
After reading Minae's latest skincare blog post, I totally had a lightbulb moment. Being the true spontaneous Sagittarius that I am, I wanted to switch my skincare routine to a full-blown skincare routine only using Korean products. I know. I have been in a serious K-beauty spiral for the last five weeks or so. I tend to have no self-control when it comes to exploring new skincare products ._.
So far, I am loving my new skincare lineup and have yet to encounter any issues — promise I will make a blog post dedicated to my recent K-beauty discoveries where I will talk lots more and hopefully you will be interested in that.
Before anything, no I didn't purchase all products at once because then I'll break my low-buy rule and no worries I didn't just quit my current skincare routine cold turkey. You should never switch multiple products at once because then you wouldn't know which one is and isn't suiting your skin. Anyway, I am so excited to share the journey with you! Please look forward to my little K-beauty discoveries soon.

5K steps
If you didn't pick this up, I am currently on a mission to hit 5,000 steps daily. Why so sudden, you ask? Well, it's no secret that walking is one of the easiest ways to lose weight and improve your health. My current job doesn't require me to move around that much and I usually get around 3,000-4,000 steps by the end of the day. There's nothing to be proud of and it's not that rewarding.
So I challenged myself to hit 5,000 steps daily in February. I know some people can hit it without even trying but I just wanted to keep my health in check at my own pace. And whaddya know, I hit 5,000 steps almost every day in February! Yes, I've definitely missed a couple of days because I was sick but hey! It was a good starting point.
I think I am going to stick to hitting 5,000 steps for a couple of more months and prepare myself physically and mentally before starting the mega project of hitting 10,000 steps a day. I can do this! I want to move around and spend a shitload of time outdoors like I used to.
Solitaire.org
Hear me out, being sick can sometimes be a good thing because that's when I can fully rest and recover. I like to think of it as a break that I meant to get but sometimes can't. I am not going crazy or anything but I am trying to see the good in everything. So during my sick week, I'll be honest I didn't have much to do apart from watching a bunch of TV shows. I spent a lot of my time on my laptop in bed. So to keep myself entertained even more I played online games. Yes, online games are my jam!
This is so nostalgic to me because when I was a little girl, I always saw my mom and dad playing Solitaire on the computer. Oh, good times~ They even have it on the main screen for easy access so they can just click on it when they were not working. And out of curiosity, I always wanted to play it myself even if I barely understand what it wants. So I did and I never won.
This is bringing up so much of my childhood memories and I am truly overjoyed! I recently discovered Solitaire.org and oh my gosh I love it. I could be on it for literally hours! And it's still so hard to win the game and I would get frustrated again but I don't mind it.
There are heaps of other games available on Solitaire.org and another game that I like is the hidden object. I love a hidden object game — I love searching! Hidden Hotel and Hidden Kitchen are my favourite ones to play. They get more and more challenging once you go up a level but I am not a quitter. I finished all 10 levels in one sitting!
Ranking 32. Not bad hey?
No. 14! I am so good at this.
If these are not bringing back memories to you, I don't know what is. These are all classics. I also love the fact that I don't need to download any app to play, I just type in Solitaire.org on my browser and I am good to go. The site is pretty easy to navigate and doesn't take long to load which is highly appreciated. My sister also played a couple of games and enjoyed her time here. They have lots of games available but these are definitely my favourite!
That was February for me! How was February for you?
This was such a great post to read sweetie!
