My Current Favourites #2

Hello, gorgeousness! Gosh, it's November, guys. Time flies like crazy.

Please excuse all the crickets and silence that's been circulating around the blog. I honestly haven't been precisely inspired recently. I've wanted to put up my current favourites for ages but right now I'm kinda trying to sort out some work and stuff before my birthday, just so I can be completely free by then. But I'm here now, here's a little run-through of the bits that I currently love in every region:

Taylor Swift – Midnights

Taylor Swift's Midnights album has been on repeat here all day since it came out and it has got me feeling some kind of things. It's so good that I can't help but cry my heart out at the relatability scale. I love how her lyrics trigger such raw and deep emotions. This is everything I want in an album. It's tragic and comforting at the same time. I love, love it! Perfect for my evening journal sessions <3

Maybelline Superstay Matte Ink in Delicate

I know I'm so 2010. I'm still a sucker for matte lipsticks/ lip creams. I just love the fact that they all stay put on my lips and I don't have to reapply, even after having a greasy meal. Maybelline Superstay Matte Ink is definitely the ish. This time around I got a stunning, romantic and versatile shade – Delicate – a pinkish nude with a bit of a brown undertone. It's so wearable and it will look great for both day and night looks! I'm obsessed.

Bath & Body Works A Thousand Wishes

Another Bath & Body Works scent that I enjoy. I'm actually surprised by how much I like this. I never really expected to love it as much as I do. It's fruity and sweet. A hint of sugary floral and creamy almond deliciousness when it sets. I'm not crazy about the boozy notes though, I just like how sweet and feminine the scent is. This has quickly become my everyday signature scent!

Palladio Matte Blush in Tipsy

I'm all for beautiful coral, sun-kissed flushed cheeks. This one caught my eye when I was grabbing a few stuff at the drugstore and I quickly added this to my cart. It's so beautiful, although it might be a bit deeper than normal coral shades it still gives me the most beautiful sun-kissed cheeks. It's a flattering matte, in my opinion. I can see a hint of a satin finish but very faint. It's the only thing I've been reaching so that tells you something.

Sing 2 the movie

A few days ago, I finally watched Sing 2 after sleeping on that movie for several months and wow. It's actually too good. I surprisingly enjoyed Sing 2 more than the first one. It was great too, don't get me wrong, but the sequel is even better. The music is well-played, it was funnier than the first one and they got Halsey this time around!

Homemade sangkaya with steamed bread

I was on the roll, I mean the kitchen was all mine for the last few weeks! I tried a bunch of yummy recipes from YouTube and TikTok and this homemade sangkaya was one of them. Sangkaya is a pandan-flavoured (screwpine) coconut egg jam (?) Well, I'm the best at cooking and eating food but the worst at describing them. It's like a rich and sweet jam that you can eat with toast or in my case, I love to have it with a set of steamed bread. It's so, so good!! It's all I'm having in the morning and it's great for tea time as well.

  1. We absolutely loved Sing 2 too! We went to see it to pass some time while the car was being serviced and had the cinema to ourselves and thoroughly enjoyed it! x
