10 Things I Can’t Live Without

I'm pretty sure I have done posts like this in the past but why I'm doing a new one? Why not? I always think posts like this are so fun to do! I love to see what people are loving and obsessing over. That's one of the reasons why I'm still blogging in this day and age.

So today, I want to share 10 things I can't live without. Minus things like food, water, oxygen, my family, friends, my partner Adan and cats. Not that. Obviously, I can't live without those but I'm talking about other stuff that makes life a little better, yknow? These are simply a few things that I truly, really need in my life and I would be miserable without them. I gotta warn you though that some of these things are absurd. You'll see what I mean. So here goes nothing!

10 Things I Can’t Live Without:

1. My phone. This is pretty self-explanatory. I'm totally a phone-dependant. I use my phone daily to connect and work, amongst other things. FYI, I was religiously using my phone to update my blog during my uni days although I have a laptop with me. It goes to show that my phone means so much to me. It even serves the purpose of being my only photography camera and equipment. It's all in there, man. I literally couldn't function without it. Full stop.

2. Lip products. I probably have no less than 2 lip products in my bag at all times. I also keep some on my desk where I work and in my car. They're everywhere. I try so hard not to look like I'm dying so I gotta have them ready. My daily favourites are definitely the Silkygirl one, this one from Peripera and Velvet Teddy, of course.

3. Tea. I am 100% a tea kind of girlie. I've been drinking tea for as long as I can remember and I very rarely turn a cuppa down. It almost feels like a treat every single time and I need it every second of every day.

4. My journal. Although I don't really stick with it all the damn time and I even abandon it sometimes, I always have it near me and I always try to update my journal. I have to look at it every single day and write something in it, even the littlest things. It keeps my mental health in check and that's so important to me.

5. Perfumes/ fragrances. I'm definitely a huge perfume girl growing up. I'm always the kind of girl that loves to stand out with my scent. I literally shower myself in perfume, that's why. I just love smelling good all the time. I feel like a princess when I have a sweet scent on. Some of my favourites are absolutely Givenchy L'Interdit, Warm Vanilla Sugar from Bath and Body Works and Sweet Like Candy by Ariana Grande! The sickeningly sweet the scent is, the more I love it.

6. My blog. While I don't consider myself an amazing blogger, it's something I really enjoy doing and it keeps me occupied. And yes, I'm well aware that I don't update my blog every week but I check mine every day just to see if there is something I need to do, which most times there are. It also has given me a purpose and an outlet for the past 10 years. It definitely helped me cope with a lot of things. So yea, I basically can't live without it.

7. An eyelash curler and Maybelline Lash Sensational mascara. I know this is cheating putting it all together, but these two just go hand in hand okay? This mascara is just jaw-droppingly amazing for someone like me who has a sad and sparse pair of lashes. Sometimes I don't even need the help of falsies because my eyelashes are that good with Lash Sensational mascara on! I don't know why but I feel so much prettier when my lashes are curled and nicely coated with mascara.

8. My skincare. I know I'm kind of cheating again but I couldn't pick just one product. I need them all. They are my lifesavers. My skin has been behaving so *so* well with my current routine. I cannot imagine life without my skincare products, especially my snail mucin essence and my favourite serum!

9. Music. Music is life. I literally can't go a day without it. I'm always jamming out and singing, even if I'm no Ariana Grande. It's just a part of my day.

10. Spicy Samyang Korean ramen. I'm sorry to say but I'm a little bit addicted. Remember when the 'Fire Noodle Challenge' went crazy viral in 2016 or so? Yep, when I finally got my hands on it, I couldn't stop eating it. It just has the right texture, it's chewy and tastes amazing! My top 3 flavors are carbonara, cheese and the original hot chicken! Omg, I'm getting hungry now~

  1. Ooh, if I made a list of '10 Things I Couldn't live without' spicy Korean ramen would be on there too. Also lip balm. I'd add coffee and music to that.
