Hello, lovely souls! Today, I'm going to shake things up a bit and share
a little glimpse into my world as a co-owner of Sisters & Brushes – a
  cute clay business
that my little sister and I started. I figured it's time for a fun,
chit-chatty post, because let's face it, sometimes oversharing can be a blast!
So, it all began when my amazing little sister and I decided to embark on a
creative journey together, channelling our love for art and clay into something truly unique.

You see, my sister and I have always been inseparable. We've spent countless
hours exploring our artistic sides, experimenting with various mediums, and
    dreaming up endless possibilities.

And that's when the idea struck us: why not turn our shared passion into a
small business? With eager hearts and eager hands, Sisters & Brushes was
    born.

At Sisters & Brushes, we specialize in customization, every day brings new
opportunities for growth and artistic expression. From sculpting tiny
whimsical creatures to crafting personalized trinkets that hold stories
within, our little corner of the world has become a hub of creativity and
  imagination.
And I have the immense joy of sharing this creative adventure with my amazing
  sister, my partner-in-crime.
The journey has been nothing short of amazing if I do say so myself.
Let me start by saying that owning a small business is no easy task. It
requires dedication, hard work, and a passion that keeps you going when things
get tough. Sisters & Brushes began as a humble venture between my sister
and me, born out of our shared love for art and our desire to turn our passion
into something more. We started by creating little clay trays and a few
jewellery pieces, and now we've expanded to offer more intricate clay dish
  designs, miniatures and figurines!
A peek into our daily lives
Let's talk about what's been occupying a huge chunk of my time lately. One of
the most exciting projects we've taken on recently is expanding our product
  line!
We've been brainstorming and experimenting with new clay techniques, exploring
different customization options, and sourcing high-quality materials to bring
our customers even more variety. It's been a whirlwind of creativity, and I
can't wait to unveil these new creations very soon.
In addition to product development, we've also been focusing on building a
  strong online presence.
Social media has become such a powerful tool for businesses, and we want to
connect with as many people as possible. We've been crafting engaging content,
sharing behind-the-scenes peeks into our creative process, and collaborating
with other brands. Social media has not only helped us reach a wider
audience but has also allowed us to build a genuine community of like-minded
individuals who appreciate the beauty of handmade creations.
It's amazing to witness the supportive community that surrounds Sisters &
Brushes, and I'm incredibly grateful for all the love and encouragement we
  receive.
Aside from that, I'm so thrilled to put my photography skills, which I honed
through blogging, to good use. I began experimenting with different
techniques, angles, and lighting to elevate the visual storytelling on Sisters
& Brushes. It's pretty much what I've been occupied with.
I can proudly say that almost all the photos and footage you see on
  Sisters & Brushes
were taken by yours truly. *Insert happy dance!*
Of course, I know there's still plenty of room to grow and refine my skill,
but the love and passion I put into each shot make this journey incredibly
rewarding. Beyond the technical aspect of
photography, it's the emotional connection that truly makes this experience special.
When I look through the lens, I see more than just a scene; I see stories
  waiting to be told.
I simply adore the work I get to do now. It truly feels like where I belong,
  you know what I mean?
Every day, I wake up excited to dive into the world of both creativity and
entrepreneurship. From brainstorming new ideas to developing marketing
strategies, my days are filled with a whirlwind of activities. But you know
what? I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. The fulfilment I
feel when a customer falls in love with one of our creations is beyond
  measure!

The thrill of life's highs and lows
However, it's not all sunshine and rainbows and butterflies.
Balancing the demands of running a small business, managing orders and
logistics to marketing and customer service, and pouring heart and soul into
every clay creation can be quite the challenge.
It's inevitable, they say. And it's true.
It can be *a lot* to handle, sometimes. But I wouldn't have it any
other way. To me, each challenge has been an opportunity for growth, both
  personally and professionally.
That said, running Sisters & Brushes has allowed me to grow not only as an
entrepreneur but also as a person. It has pushed me to step out of my comfort
zone, face challenges head-on and constantly learn and adapt. I've discovered
skills I never knew I had, from mastering social media marketing to honing my
leadership abilities. Each hurdle I encounter is an opportunity for growth.
The process of creating something from scratch and turning it into a
successful venture has taught me patience, resilience, and the importance of
perseverance. I've learned to embrace failure as an opportunity to learn and
grow, and each setback has only made me more determined to push forward.
Embracing the journey
Amidst the organized chaos, I've discovered something profound – I'm living
the dream life without even realizing it :)
Living the dream life doesn't always mean having a perfect, picture-perfect
  scenario.
It's about finding fulfilment in the process, embracing the ups and downs, and
constantly learning and growing. All in all, Sisters & Brushes has taught
  me to:
Celebrate small victories, to appreciate the beauty in imperfections, and to find joy in everyday moments. It's about finding purpose in what we do and sharing that passion with the world.
I'm surrounded by love and support from my amazing sister and the wonderful
community we've built. I have the opportunity to share my passion with the
world and make a difference in people's lives through art and my words. What
more could I ask for, right?
If you've made it this far, thank you <3
Now you know what's been consuming my time and energy. But hey, that
doesn't mean you'll get less of me here. I'll still be around because
this blog is my baby after all! I'm just so beyond grateful for your
support, even though I haven't been able to write on the blog as
  frequently lately.
Anyway, it's a wrap from me. Until next time, I hope you've enjoyed this
little chit-chat! It's been such a joy to share these updates with you,
and I'll try my best to keep you posted on all the exciting things coming our
  way.
Chase your dreams, whatever they may be. It's never too late to start
something new, and with passion and perseverance, anything is possible. You
never know, like me, you might be living the dream life without realizing it!
  :)
