My Truly Feel Good Movies

Today, I'm sharing 20 feel-good movies that always boost my mood. These are the films I turn to whenever I need a good laugh and a little pick-me-up. They hold a special place in my heart, and I probably know most of the lines by heart since I've watched watched them so many times!

My Truly Feel Good Movies

Clueless (1995)

Very entertaining, hilarious and pure legendary. Alicia Silverstone totally shines as Cher, turning a hopeless girl into a new version of herself while picking up some life lessons along the way. And honestly, who doesn't love a classic makeover story?

Legally Blonde (2001)

Elle Woods proves that being fashionable and smart isn't mutually exclusive. Her journey from sorority girl to law school is both inspiring and entertaining. And let's be real – her epic clapbacks at her ex, who's pretty much a waste of space, are the best part!

The Princess Diaries (2001)

We all secretly wish we were princesses, right? Watching Anne Hathaway's character discover her royal roots is a delightful escape. Her transformation from an ordinary teen to a full-on princess will forever be iconic to me.

How To Lose a Guy in 10 Days (2003)

I might be a bit dramatic, but if you don't like this movie, you might just be allergic to joy. It's a great rom-com with lots of laughs, where a guy and a gal hilariously try to sabotage their relationship goals for their own agendas. Classic fun!

13 Going on 30 (2004)

This movie is a staple in my house. It's a lighthearted, charming movie about a 13-year-old who wakes up in her 30-year-old self's body. It's a fun look at growing up and the magic of wishes.

Mean Girls (2004)

Come on. This is a major teen movie that's basically a cultural phenomenon. Who doesn't love a bit of "fetch" and some epic high school drama?

A Cinderella Story (2004)

There have been so many versions of Cinderella over the years, but honestly, nothing beats the one with Hilary Duff and Chad Michael Murray. This modern spin on the fairy tale is iconic. And let's be real, Jennifer Coolidge absolutely steals the show with some of the best one-liners of her career!

50 First Dates (2004)

A sweet romance where Drew Barrymore's character suffers from short-term memory loss, and Adam Sandler's character has to make her fall in love with him every single day.

The Devil Wears Prada (2006)

AN ABSOLUTE MUST-WATCH. Who doesn't love Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway in this fashion-forward flick? Watching Anne navigate the high-fashion world is both riveting and hilarious.

She’s The Man (2006)

This classic is all about a sister who disguises herself as her brother to play soccer at a boarding school. The plot twist? She ends up falling for her super hot roommate, Duke (aka Channing Tatum). It's seriously funny and super entertaining!

27 Dresses (2008)

Back when Katherine Heigl was the queen of rom-coms, this movie was made for her – it just fits her perfectly. It's story about a woman who's always a bridesmaid but never a bride. It's a heartwarming tale of love and self-discovery.

Bride Wars (2009)

A fun flick about two best friends whose wedding plans clash in a big way. If you're in the mood for some bridal drama and lots of laughs, this one's for you!

Confessions of a Shopaholic (2009)

As a former shopaholic myself, I totally relate to this movie. Isla Fisher is fantastic as Rebecca Bloomwood, trying to balance her fashion obsession with her financial troubles.

When in Rome (2010)

A delightful rom-com about a woman who steals coins from a Roman fountain and finds herself pursued by a group of suitors. Trust me, it's as quirky as it sounds!

Valentine’s Day (2010)

With an all-star cast and a memorable Taylor Swift cameo, this movie is a sweet and funny look at love on Valentine's Day. Everything about this movie is cringe, but honestly, that's what makes it so good!

Bridesmaids (2011)

This film redefined comedy with its hilarious and honest take on wedding preparations and friendships. As the maid of honor, she's convinced she's got everything under control to make it perfect for her best friend – until another bridesmaid swoops in and stirs the pot. Definitely worth a watch!

What’s Your Number? (2011)

It's a super funny and charming rom-com where Anna Faris plays a woman who goes on a wild adventure to track down all her nineteen ex-boyfriends, hoping to finally find "the one."

The Intern (2015)

A feel-good story about a 70-year-old intern who shakes up the modern workplace. It's super cute and while it's not packed with laughs, it still got a few good chuckles out of me.

Instant Family (2018)

A heartwarming film about a couple who decide to adopt three siblings. It's hilarious, touching, and perfect for a cozy movie night. You'll be laughing and tearing up, so have tissues ready.

Set It Up (2018)

A fun rom-com about two overworked assistants who set up their bosses to fall in love so they can get a little break. It's super cute and clever, and honestly, it made me love Glen Powell even more!

Which of these feel-good movies are your go-tos?

  7. omg, I agree with almost every single one of these! There are a few of these i haven't watched, so I have to add them to my list of favorites. There's something so comforting about movies made in the early 2000s-2018! It's so much harder to find movies that give me this same feeling with more recent movies. Great post ! xxx
